1 baked pie shell
1 c powdered sugar
1/2 c peanut butter
1/4 c cornstarch
2/3 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 c warm milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp vanilla
3 egg whites for meringue
Combine powdered sugar and peanut butter until like biscuit mix. Spread half of mixture in cooled pie shell. Combine cornstarch, sugar and salt. Add to milk and mix. Pour small amount over egg yolks, mix. Cook all together in heavy saucepan until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Cool. Pour in pie shell. Top with meringue. Sprinkle with rest of peanut butter over top. Bake at 325 degrees until brown.
